USSSA Softball Tournament When: December 6-7, 2025 Where: Mazeppa Park Mooresvile, NC Cost: $250 per team plus $10 (or toy) Donation per player. CASH ONLY!!! Divisions: Men Upper Men Lower COED (Sunday) PAPER ROSTERS - Can only play for 1 team per day Prize Package: TBD Rules: * ALL games will be 50 minutes finish the inning plus 1 inning. * USSSA Run Rule are in effect * USSSA Stamped 240 bats only * All balls hit over te temporary fence (250') but before the permanent fence shall count as a home run with one exception (Mr. 300). All balls hit over the permanent fence will be an out and -1 run to the offending team. * Mr. 300 (optional). Each team may select one member of their team to be Mr,300 prior to the game. Mr, 300 may hit the ball over the permanent fence and count as a Home Run. However, any fair batted ball not hit over the permanent fence will be an out. If Mr. 300 walks then any member of the team may hit a ball over the permanent fence with no penalty until Mr. 300 comes back up to bat. Only 1 Home Run allowed. * Bandit Runner assigned prior to the game. Coed may have 2 Bandit Runners, one for each sex. * Strike Mats. Each field will have a Strike Mat. Pitch hits the board for a strike. Ball misses the board for a ball. * Pitching Screen (optional). A pitching screen may be used at the pitcher's discretion (this is advised). If used any fair batted ball that hits the screen shall be declared an out. If screen is used the pitcher can not be the 1st person to touch a batted (fair or foul) ball. If this happens the batter will be awarded 1st base and runners advancing if they are forced. * COED. Since we are using the 6/4 or 7/5 format, anytime a male walks they will receive a 2 base award. Bases must be touched in order. Also using this format, 3 males CAN NOT hit back to back. Line-up and females CAN NOT hit back to back. If caught the offending batter (3rd) male/2nd female) shall be declared out and the lineup adjusted to a proper lineup. * All teams need to be ready to play 30 minutes prior to game time. A forfeit will be declared 15 minutes prior to game time if there is a field ready to be played on. This includes all games after a teams 1st game. A team may start play with 8 players. Field assignments may be changed at the director's discretion. * Music is encouraged but limited. The volume must be low enough for everyone to hear the umpire. Also, no vulgar or racial words allowed. 1st offense you will be asked to change the music. 2nd offense you will be asked to put your music box in your car. This is a family atmosphere this weekend. * No alcohol or illegal substances allowed in the playing (including dugouts).
