POOL STANDING CRITERIA

Pool Standings Sorted on the following:

1) Winning Percentage - Descending
2) Number Wins - Descending
3) Number Loses - Ascending
4) Tied Teams (vs. each other) Winning Pct - Descending [Not valid if all tied teams have not played each other]
5) Avg Points Allowed - Ascending
6) Avg Run Differential with a maximum of (100) - Descending
7) USSSA Points - Descending
8) Date Team Entered USSSA Database

Once past a tie breaker do not return to previous

We appreciate your participation in this event. We value your patronage to USSSA.  Therefore............

If at any time during a game in this event, you feel the need to speak with a director, please inform your umpire. He or She has been instructed to grant your request. This request needs to come from the coach. Do NOT let the game continue. We cannot fix anything after play has continued. This does not mean anything other than you will be able to speak with a director. Erroneous rule interpretations may be corrected. Judgement calls are always at the discretion of the Umpire.

Event HR Rules and Runner rules

2 POOL PLAY followed by Bracket Play   Bracket seeding will be based on Pool Play results
Mens E 1 DHH + 2 HRs                                                                                                                                            Mens Rec 1 DH + 1 HR    

Any Classic M, Pro M or Classic Plus Ball may be used.............

  All Pool games will be Time Limit.   After 50 minutes, we will finish the current inning and play one more. 

Pool games tied after 7 innings or Time Limit will end in a tie.

The Bandit Runner may be anyone on the roster. He must be designated before the game begins. He will be the Bandit Runner for the remainder of the game. He may run for anyone at any time. If he is also in the batting lineup, and his turn at bat occurs while he/she is on base, his position in the batting order will be an out. There shall be no other penalty.

    The  Bandit role may not be substituted.  A Bandit Runner may be replaced on the base only by the player he/she is running for at the time. The Bandit Runner role is then lost for the remainder of the game. As stated earlier……..if his “turn at bat” occurs and he is ON BASE, an out will be recorded for his/her position in the batting order. There are NO exceptions. His turn at bat occurs when the previous batters turn at bat has ended. “Play Ball” or “Batter Up” need not be indicated for his turn at bat to occur.    The ONLY way an out is recorded per the Bandit runner is if the runner is caught on base and it his his turn to bat.
