PLAYERS and COACHES Please Read,......
We appreciate your participation in this event. We value your patronage to USSSA.
Therefore............
If at any time during a game in this event, you feel the need to speak with a director, please inform your umpire. He has been instructed to grant your request. This request needs to come from the coach. Do NOT let the game continue. We cannot fix anything after play has continued or a subsequent pitch is thrown. This does not mean anything other than the fact that you will be able to speak with a director. Erroneous rule interpretations may be corrected. Judgement calls are always at the discretion of the Umpire.
Thank you and Good Lick to all of you and Thank you for playing USSSA!
Time Limits / Equalizer / HR Rules
Home Run Rules
Mens D/E 3 HRs 1 UP
Mens Rec 2 HRs 1 UP
All Pool games will be Time Limit. After 50 minutes, we will finish the current inning ONLY
Pool games tied after 7 innings or Time Limit will end in a tie.
All Bracket games will be Time Limit. After 50 minutes, we will finish the current inning and play one more.
Courtesy Runner Rule
The Bandit Runner may be anyone on the roster. He must be designated before the game begins. He will be the Bi Bandit Runner for the remainder of the game. He may run for anyone at any time. If he is also in the batting lineup, and his turn at bat occurs while he/she is on base, his position in the batting order will be an out. There shall be no other penalty.
The Bandit role may not be substituted. A Bandit Runner may be replaced on the base only by the player he/she is running for at the time. The Bandit Runner role is then lost for the remainder of the game. As stated earlier……..if his “turn at bat” occurs and he is ON BASE, an out will be recorded for his/her position in the batting order. There are NO exceptions. His turn at bat occurs when the previous batters turn at bat has ended. “Play Ball” or “Batter Up” need not be indicated for his turn at bat to occur. If a runner other than the proper designated runner assumes the base an out will be recorded in the book and the runner will be removed from the base. The correct runner may not assume that base at that point.
