SENIORS Home Run & Equalizer Rules
We will be using National Rules for Home Runs and Equalizers.
6. HOME RUN RULES
6.1. Major Plus=DHH+10 HR’s / Major=DHH+8 HR’s / AAA=DHH+6 HR’s / AA=DHH+2 HR’s
6.2. If divisions are combined, the HR rule will be the lower classification.
The team granting the equalizer will be HOME TEAM.
6.3. Homeruns over the limit are an out.
8. EQUALIZER RULES
8.1. When a lower-class or older age group team is playing a higher-class or
younger age group team, lower or older team will have one of two
options:
8.1.1. OPTION 1 - Five (5) runs per game (Awarded one (1) run an
inning for the first 5 innings)
8.1.2. OPTION 2 - 11th defensive player
8.1.3. When there is a 2 (or more) classification or age group difference
in the opposing teams, the tournament director reserves the right
to implement both Option 1 and Option 2 to make the game
competitive.
MENS HOME RUN RULES /TIME LIMITS

Mens D 1 DHH + 3 HRs
Mens E 1 DHH + 2 HRs
Mens Rec 2 HRs
All Pool games will be Time Limit. After 50 minutes, we will finish the current inning ONLY
Pool games tied after 7 innings or Time Limit will end in a tie.

Courtesy (Bandit) Runner
- The Bandit Runner (BR) may be anyone on the roster.
- The BR must be designated before the game begins This is tied to the player and not a position in the lineup or on the roster.
- The BR will be the Bandit Runner for the remainder of the game. The BR may run for anyone at any time.
- If the BR is also in the batting lineup, and his turn at bat occurs while he is on base, his position in the batting order will be an out. If the BR’s “Turn at Bat” occurs and the BR is ON BASE, an out will be recorded for his position in the batting order. There are NO exceptions. His “turn at bat” occurs when the previous batters turn at bat has ended. “Play Ball” or “Batter Up” need not be indicated for his turn at bat to occur. There shall be no other penalty other than an out.
- The BR role may not be substituted. A Bandit Runner may be replaced on the base only by the player he is running for at the time. The Bandit Runner role is then lost for the remainder of the game.
- If anyone other that the BR assumes a position on the base to run for another player and is not announced prior to touching the base as a legal substitute the baserunner at that base will be declared out.
Runner for the Pitcher
- In addittion to the “Bandit Runner” the pitcher will be allowed a runner other than the Bandit Runner If the Bandit is on base or in jeopardy of being on base when it is his turn to bat. This “pitcher runner” may be anyone on the roster. If his turn to bat occurs and he is occupying a base he will be “out at the plate”.
